Masterplanning/Structure Planning Projects

Masterplan has undertaken the planning and design for many major projects representing over an estimated 30,000 residential lots in a variety of locations. Recent and current projects include Alkimos Beach Estate, Moore River South, The Reef at Two Rocks, Ravens Wood and the Boddington Urban Expansion Area.

Strategic Planning Projects

A variety of Strategic Planning projects for both government and private clients have been successfully completed or are underway. These include the Swanbourne Street and Crawley Structure Planning exercises, the Champion Lakes Masterplan and the award winning Scarborough Environs Area Strategy.

Subdivision/Urban Design Projects

An extensive palette of subdivision and urban design projects has been assembled in both the metropolitan and regional areas ranging from small lot urban regeneration to broad scale land subdivision and special rural projects. Recent examples include The Reef at Two Rocks, St Paul's Estate, St Michel Estate , Atwell Waters Private Estate (UDIA State Award Winner), Pinjarra Meadows Private Estate, Ellis Hill at Boddington, Noalimba at Bateman, the Tea Tree Road 'Cheriton Grove' Special Rural Estates, and Rural-Residential subdivisions in Chittering and Northam.

Industrial Planning and Design Projects

Masterplan remains one of the principal Industrial Planning practices in Western Australia. Work has been completed for Government agencies and private developers and includes the Coolangatta Industrial Estate at Collie, Commerce Park in Bibra Lake, the Henderson Marine Complex, the Oakajee Strategic Industrial area, Access Park at Forrestfield Industrial Park and Exchange Park at Hazelmere.

Commercial Planning and Design Projects

A successful focus of the practice has been our record in commercial projects. This has included the Joondalup South and Joondalup Gate developments, Westfield Carousel, Bunnings Warehouse proposals, and the Karratha International Hotel.

Statutory Planning Projects

Masterplan also has a strong record in statutory planning including Scheme Amendments and rezonings, development and subdivision applications, representation at the State Administrative Tribunal and project management. Masterplan also provides town planning and urban design advice on a variety of planning matters to a range of clients. Recent examples include the Town of East Fremantle Residential Design Guidelines, the City of Perth Scheme Review Plot Ratio Study, various appeals to the State Administrative Tribunal, a variety of Scheme Amendments and Development Applications and Liquor Licence applications for the Eurobar and Clarkson Tavern.
